Terms of service

Pactlog is a recordkeeping and operations tool for creator sponsorship deals. It helps you record what you agreed to, track what you owe and what the brand owes, and review changes when a later message conflicts with your confirmed terms.

Pactlog does not provide, and must not be relied on as:

• Legal advice, or any assessment of whether an agreement is valid or enforceable.
• Tax or accounting advice.
• Payment processing. Pactlog tracks payment status; it never holds, moves or collects money.
• A party to your agreements. Your deals are between you and the brand.

The confirmed terms in Pactlog are your record of an agreement, not the agreement itself. Where Pactlog and your actual contract disagree, the contract governs.

Access is by invitation during the pilot. Accounts are created with a single-use invite code issued to a specific email address. Please don’t share your code.

Pactlog is free during the pilot. There is no billing connected, no card is collected, and nothing is charged. We expect public pricing to be $19/month at launch, and that may change. If we ever introduce charges, we will tell you well beforehand — we will never convert a pilot account to a paid one without your explicit agreement.

• Keep your password and invite code to yourself.
• Only connect a mailbox you are entitled to connect.
• Confirm your own deal terms. AI suggestions are starting points, not decisions.
• Don't use Pactlog to store data you have no right to hold.

This is early software. There may be bugs, downtime, and changes to how features work. We will not intentionally destroy your data, and Settings always offers a full export so you are never locked in — but please keep your own copies of anything contractually important.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your data as described in the privacy page. We may end pilot access — for example if the pilot closes — and will give you reasonable notice and a chance to export first.

Pactlog is provided as-is during the pilot, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it, including decisions made from information recorded in a deal record. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
